If you’re reading this, you’ve discovered my blog. It’s basically just a continuation of my former blog. I considered branding it with some cool-sounding name, but the first thing that came to mind was The Chestnut Tree Café, which put me right off the idea. Seriously, of all George Orwell‘s works, Nineteen Eighty-Four is the one that that absolutely no one disagrees with, because it’s about Those Bad Guys and not Us Good Guys. Trying to win points for seriousness and insight by setting up shop under its spreading and leafy branches is just spectacularly sophomoric and stupid, as this guy’s pitiful effort will attest. (In all seriousness though, if I’m ever in Salt Lake City, I have to visit the actual Chestnut Tree Café.)
